Hydrophone
Overview
- A hydrophone is a transducer, which is specially designed for receiving ultrasound. It can receive ultrasound of wide frequency range at high resolution in water in order to measure the acoustic field.
- Needle hydrophones: It is useful when you require spatial resolution.
- Large-diameter hydrophones: It is useful when you require high sensitivity.
